More Relics
I have just got back from detecting a site of the 2nd battle of Winchester and between two guys we found alot of minnie balls, 20 horseshoes, I found a camp spoon, two arrowheads, some old wagon chain, and 15-20 cannon fragments. Please comment on anything about metal detecting!!!
Reenactment at Gettysburg
This weekend I'm reenacting at Gettysburg, PA. It is going to be alot of fun and time to enjoy the good ole' music of 2nd south carolina stringband!!! I will be going with my good friend CSA who is also a fellow blogger of this wonderous site. We are both infantry and enjoy it greatly. Picketts Charge is going to be cool because they have a hell of alot of cs cannons. I hope you will be there to see us try and defeat the damn yankees. (I do not capitilize yankee because they don't have the right to be capitilized!!!)

Civil War Relic Hunting
As you all know I am very interested in the American Civil War and being a proud Confederate Reenactor I have found a great hobby of metal detecting. I recently purchased a White's XLT model metal detector and I am thrilled with it's performance. I enjoy finding all types of relics from bullets to cannon shell fragments. I recently went metal detecting in frederick co va, around the kernstown battlefield and found two buttons, four 12 pound cannon ball fragments, a gun sling buckle, about twelve CS calvary horseshoes, and two Minnie Balls. Please comment on relics you have found or just anything you would like to say about the civil war. Go CSA!!

Gettysburg
I personally like Gettysburg because so many things happened there for the confederate army. For instance, the largest cannonade ever recorded in Civil War history was led by Maj. Gen. Robert E. Lee. The largest charge was recorded at Gettysburg led by General Pickett. This is why it was called Pickett's Charge. It streched over 1 mile long of Yankee hatin' Confederate soldiers. If you have an oppinion on this please comment.
